Resilience

Day-long nature awareness retreats for school and community groups

-Northern Colorado (Front Range)
-Buena Vista/Chaffee County
-San Luis Valley

These are challenging times, and if you're a teen, parent, counselor, health worker, or educator, you already know this.

So many of us are facing grief, loss of our rituals and communities, isolation, increased stress and anxiety, and uncertainty about the future and the future of the planet itself....

You are not alone.

Let us gather in a circle in wild natural spaces, and land together, dropping in to the present moment.

Let us wander onto the land as the next generation of conscious creators, earth-movers, shakers, and builders, and speak up!

Let us take our places within the animate world, and move into reciprocity, engaging fully with the more-than-human experience unfolding around us.

Learn to listen... to feel... and to
give voice to our collective experience
of treading in turbid waters, and of coming together in care, and in deep regard for one another and for the fragile ecosystem that sustains such richness of life.

Speak truth to the powers within and engage in conversation with the nature beings that surround us.

Mindfulness, wildness, and meditation practice in nature build resilience, connection, and can be an ongoing resource in the unfolding crisis and beyond.

The earth is speaking through us all!

Now is the time to be the change you wish to see in the world.

"The faster one goes, the more strain there is on the senses, the more they fail to take in, the more confusion they must tolerate or gloss over -- and the longer it takes to bring the mind to a stop in the presence of anything."
- Wendell Berry, An Entrance to the Woods.
